He is certified by Special Olympics Georgia in 15 sports. In addition, he is a clinician for Special Olympics Georgia for bocce, swimming, bowling, cycling and badminton. He has been to two Special Olympics World Summer Games, once as a Bocce coach and once as a Unified Partner for Table Tennis. Additionally, he’s been a Bocce coach for the Special Olympics USA Games. He has been the head official in Bocce for the Special Olympics Georgia Fall Games since 2003. He is also a parent of two Augusta Stars athletes.
